Review tab: Consolidating your team's reviews

Explaining the Reviewed status, how the Review tab works, and how to consolidate multiple reviews for a final candidate score.

Consolidating your team's individual reviews of a candidate can help you come to a more complete understanding of that candidate's strengths and weaknesses, while also providing a more bias-free and anonymous consensus. The Review tab can help you accomplish that.

How does the Review tab work?

The Review tab works like this: Each member of the hiring team (aka reviewer) is able to add their review in this tab and submit that review anonymously. There is no limit to how many reviewers can submit a review. Your entire team is welcome to leave feedback here.

When everyone has left their review, you'll want to have someone from your team click the Consolidate Reviews & Complete Assessment button. Doing so will combine and anonymize the submitted reviews to come up with an average. You can even see who has submitted their review before you consolidate.

Once the reviews are consolidated, the candidate's status changes to Reviewed. You'll see an average score across all reviews for each criterion, and if enabled, you'll be able to view the comments left anonymously by reviewers under each criterion.

What if someone consolidates the reviews too early?

It is not possible to undo a Reviewed status without losing the already-submitted reviews. If you write us to revert a candidate to the previous status (i.e. back to Ready for Review), then the existing reviews will be lost and all reviewers would have to submit their reviews again.

In an effort to avoid this, we recommend making one team member responsible for consolidating the reviews after everyone is done reviewing. That way, nobody from the hiring team is accidentally left out.
