How to use custom rubrics for candidate review

Reviews can be messy and complex if you have multiple stakeholders engaged in the process. To make collaborative reviewing a little easier, we offer a feature called Rubrics. Setting up a rubric can be achieved in a few simple clicks!

Use the Review tab on the candidate's page to see how your hiring team anonymously voted on that candidate's capabilities in one of the given categories (e.g. documentation or code readability).

If you want to customize the Review tab to include the criteria your team is looking for, then you'll want to create your own custom rubric to assess and grade candidates. Rubrics can be found on the assignment's page under the Rubric tab. To create a custom rubric, simply click on the Custom Rubric button.

When creating a custom rubric, you'll be able to define the criteria, add a short description, and choose whether or not to enable comments. Feel free to add as many criteria as needed!
