Create an assignment from the library
The Library is the fastest way to get a real interview workflow live. It includes Take-Home Challenges, CodePair starter packs, and Screening Bytes, so you can choose the right format first and customize from there.
Standard workflow
- Open the Library area in the app.
- Choose the format that fits the hiring stage: challenge, CodePair, or Byte.
- Select the language, framework, or starter pack that matches the role.
- Review the assignment brief and supporting context.
- Save the assignment with a clear internal name so your team can find it later.
What you can customize
- Take-Home Challenges: frameworks, libraries, custom files, and assignment questions
- CodePair: starter packs for common live-interview setups, or a custom CodePair template when your team needs its own environment
- Bytes: a short auto-scored screen when you want a tighter, more standardized task
Before you invite anyone
- Make sure the assignment title is recognizable to your hiring team
- Double-check that the stack reflects the role you are actually hiring for
- Add any hiring-team members who should see updates or review results
- Preview the candidate-facing instructions if the workflow is new to your team
