Use rubrics and team reviews without losing the thread
Rubrics and structured reviews help teams turn multiple opinions into one clear decision. CodeSubmit supports both assignment-level rubric setup and candidate-level review consolidation.
Set up the rubric first
Use the assignment's Rubric area to define the criteria your team actually cares about. You can add descriptions for each criterion and choose whether reviewers can leave comments.
How the review flow works
- Reviewers leave individual feedback on the candidate review surface.
- Your team can see which reviewers have completed their part.
- When everyone is done, one owner consolidates the reviews into the final assessment.
Operational advice
- Assign one person to handle final consolidation so the team does not finish too early.
- Keep rubric criteria specific enough that reviewers are scoring the same thing.
- Use comments for evidence, not just conclusions.
Important note
Once reviews are consolidated, treat that as the final pass. If your team needs to back up and reopen the workflow, submitted reviews may need to be reset and entered again.
